Foundation for Climate Protection
Foundation for climate protection is a non-profit organisation founded in 2020 with a goal to contribute significantly in the changing climate scenario. We have a belief system that it is high time to take actions now for fighting against climate change. We believe nature itself have solutions for these challenging issues and could find it if we focus on nature. Through our initiatives, we aim to nurture a self-sustaining ecosystem where nature flourishes and supports life crafting a less vulnerable biosphere reducing the effects of human induced activities.
Our Earth is having a warming trend with a rise in average global temperature due to greenhouse emissions from sectors such as energy, industry, agriculture, transport, building and land use. It is our responsibility as an inhabitant to adopt measures to protect and preserve our environment unless the Earth being the supporting system can transit into a destructive through incidence of more disasters. Through our initiatives, we would like to be in forefront tackling these concerns through adoption of sustainable, innovative approaches taking solutions from nature and develop a culture to safeguard our climate.
We believe if we hold our hands together we could accelerate actions for the reduction of average global temperature to below 2 ℃. We encompass corporates who have a vision in sustainability and a quest to act in the climate emergency. We work with other NGOs, universities, government bodies and other academic institutions committed their efforts in building a healthy and sustainable environment.
